Extraction methods for specialty coffee

Syphon

It is an extraction method, which uses two overlapping glass elements separated by a filter. The process is divided into three phases: rising water in boiling, coffee maceration and beverage relapse.

AeroPress

It is a simple and fast extraction method: the coffee is left to infuse, to then be pressed by means of a piston. The drink falls into the jug below.

French Press

It is a preparation method that uses a jug, a filter and a plunger. The secret is to use a medium grind

Espresso

It is a method with three different phases: wetting (or pre-infusion), extraction where the water (at constant temperature and pressure) passes through the layer of coffee powder contained in the filter and to finish the emulsion.

V60

It is an extractor that uses conical filters with an angle of 60°C.
